Volleyball activity – Friday, 1 March

The next term, we are going to play with all kind of juggling objects. Therefore, you have to make your own juggling balls, and, in addition, you have to choose another juggling game and make it.

¡Hola a todos!:

Como habréis comprobado, las ruedas de vuestros patines se desgastan con el uso por su parte interior. Para prolongar la vida de vuestras ruedas, y para mantener un desgaste homogéneo por ambos lados, es recomendable rotarlas (la parte gastada hacia fuera) y cambiarlas de lado (de un patín a otro).

Para hacer este cambio hay varias posibilidades:

1.- Simplemente darles la vuelta, sin cambiar la rueda de posición, poniendo la parte interior (gastada) hacia el exterior:

2.- Rotación clásica 1-3 / 2-4: cambiar la 1ª rueda de un lado por la 3ª del otro, y la 2ª por la 4ª, siempre poniendo la parte gastada hacia el exterior

3.- Rotación clásica 1-2 / 2-3 / 3-4 / 4 – 1: poner la 1ª rueda de un lado en la 2ª posición del otro; la 2ª en la 3ª, la 3ª en la 4ª, y la…

Agility test on the floor

The following video shows an applicant interested in beginning the Degree in Physical Activities and Sports at the Universidade da Coruña.

The test, called “Agility Test on the Floor“, measures the applicant’s skill in gymnastics, and is run along a corridor of mats. The sequence includes skills such as a cartwheel, a somersault, a handstand, a balance, a candlestick, a toetouch jump, a “lion” and a “toad“, mixed with jumps and turns.
